The Challenge

The Standard Hotel faced a botanical crisis: vital green areas had been neglected due to a sudden vacancy in their plant maintenance role. The roof garden, terrace, and internal spaces, including 30 guest rooms, were suffering from pests, drought, and a lack of attention. An underutilised irrigation system compounded the problem, requiring a renewed vision to meet the hotel's esteemed standards.


Our Solution

  • Initiating our intervention with comprehensive consultations, we assessed each green space's unique challenges and potential.

  • Reviving and supplementing the existing flora, we quickly enhanced the aesthetics of key areas, ensuring immediate improvements.

  • Our technical expertise enabled us to optimise the existing irrigation system, reducing manual labour and allowing for more strategic greenery management.

  • Rather than focus on plant replacements, we started a plant revitalisation program moving weaker plants to other areas where we could bring them back to their best.
