Our Roots
Greenarium is rooted in a lifetime of connection to nature and design. From a childhood in the Polish forests to a career in visual merchandising and time spent in the tropical jungles of South America, our founder Ursula has seen how plants change the way we feel. For her, greenery is much more than beautiful backdrop. It is living medicine, bringing balance, inspiration, and a sense of “home” and remembering into every space.
How we started
Back in London during maternity leave in 2020, Greenarium began as a small plant delivery service from a hand-built greenhouse in our East London garden. What grew from those early days has since become a full design and maintenance studio, trusted by clients such as The Standard Hotel and designer Thomas Heatherwick.
This is the philosophy behind Greenarium: designing spaces that blend the harmony of nature with the creativity of interiors, so every project becomes both beautiful and deeply human. We do this through a service that is characterised by a gritty desire to solve problems and make things work.

Our Roots
Greenarium grows out of a lifetime of connection to nature and design. Our founder, Ursula’s childhood in the Polish forests planted the seed: a home filled with greenery, inside and out, where plants were part of daily life. Later, her career in display merchandising sharpened her eye for style and taught her how environments shape the way people feel and behave.
The journey expanded further in South America, living within the richness of tropical jungles. A place of colour, abundance, and wild variety. Those experiences deepened her belief that plants are much more than beautiful backdrops. They are living medicine, capable of restoring balance, sparking inspiration, and bringing people “back home” wherever they are.
Greenarium comes to life
Back in London, while in maternity leave in 2020, what started as a plant delivery service exploding during the pandemic transformed into a more comprehensive service. All from a hand built greenhouse in our East London garden.
Since then our passion and determination have led to partnerships with the likes of The Standard Hotel and architect/designer Thomas Heatherwick who believe in and share our ethos.

Hello there,
I'm Ursula, the founder and head plant stylist here at Greenarium. For as long as I can remember, I've had a deep-rooted passion for the natural world, and I've dedicated my career to bringing that love of nature into every space I touch.
Every plant, every leaf, every pot has a story to tell, and my mission is to help tell that story in your space. I work closely with each of our clients, from the initial conversations to the final touches of installation, to ensure that your vision is fully realised in a way that brings harmony and vitality.
Whether it's a small potted corner that needs a dash of green or a full-scale indoor jungle that you're dreaming of, I'm here to make it happen with the utmost care and creativity. Our team at Greenarium believes in the power of plants to transform spaces and improve wellbeing, and it's a joy to bring this to life every day.
